USS PRINCETON
WWII U.S. Navy veteran Ken Pennington tells about his time serving aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Princeton during the war. While aboard that ship, it was bombed by a Japanese plane and sunk off the coast of the Philippines. He was awarded the prestigious Philippine Liberation Medal, as well as countless other honorable service awards during his 20-year service in the U.S. Navy.
USS PROMETHEUS
In this interview, we hear the stories of WWII veteran James Patton who served on a repair ship in the U.S. Navy during the war. Hear about being the first American soldiers in Hong Kong, as well as traveling to many other Asian countries. Patton also tells about his amazing experiences during an Honor Flight trip.
USS OREGON CITY
Seaman First Class Richard Irwin shares his stories about the U.S.S. Oregon City during the latter part of WWII. He talks about getting sea-sick while on patrol for submarines in the Atlantic, as well as his important job aboard the ship.
